With advanced training in animal sciences and dairy cattle physiology, her work focuses on nutritional strategies that support dairy cattle health, productivity, sustainability, and resilience during environmental challenges.

 

Dr. Jimena Laporta is an Associate Professor of Lactation Physiology at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her research focuses on heat stress, mammary gland biology, fetal programming, and how prenatal and early life conditions influence health, productivity, and performance in dairy cattle.
